Here are some spare parts for an old model Startright Inca planer, the handwheel centre shaft is re-cycled from the original handwheel, and the handwheel knob rotates. The separate knob is a scaled version of an Item found on www.thingiverse.com
After seeing flight control sticks with switches in them it seemed a no brainer and went to order a set... to my amazement the CNC versions available are £60 odd a pair, so out comes the 3D printer. More than happy with these and I'm even getting to like the feel.
The pilot is based on the concept of the RCparaglider.com, however due to the use of different servos and a Blue Box action figure the engineering is notably different. The harness is curtesy of rc-paramotor.co.uk.

As usual its difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff when looking for advice on printing, cooling is definitely an much discussed topic. Havig neede to cool my 3D Hubs samples I decided to do the upgrade and selected the Wanhao Duplicator 4X Cooling Fan Duct.
So the CG-5 has come out of its box and has been given a new lease of life, some spare parts thanks to ebay and FLO and as the OEM plastics seemed a little flimsy and poorly secured I've designed and 3D printed these enclosures.
