Simplify3D... essential purchase or extravagant outlay?
Wow, I think the picture talks for its self this print was with default settings. Quality, flexibility and dimensional accuracy all come from the very well laid out and highly configurable software. The front bearing races are from Simplify3D code, whereas the real one is generated by Makerbot Desktop.
I mainly bought this software to be able to vary the print specifications for different elements of a model, i.e. denser structural aspects such a bearing races but with lightweight thin wall structural interfaces but the improvement in quality and dimensional accuracy (post fettling) is very impressive.
